Hi Eric, that's a great question, and I can definitely clear up the confusion. The B&W GNRK1123B is the manufacturer's part number, while BW83FR was our etrailer part number for that same hitch. We have since updated our catalog, and the current etrailer part number for the correct B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch for your 2023 Ford F350 diesel 4x4 dually without the factory OEM prep package is # BW73FR.
The nice thing is you're getting the same proven B&W Turnoverball system. It includes the custom fit installation brackets, so it's designed specifically for your truck and lines up with the factory mounting locations. Once it's installed, you can flip the hitch ball upside down when you're not towing, leaving you with a clean bed and nothing sticking up in the way. B&W has built an excellent reputation for durability and quality, which is why it's one of the first brands I recommend for heavy towing applications.
I know it's frustrating when you see multiple part numbers for what looks like the same product, but for your truck you can confidently order part # BW73FR.
What are you planning to tow first with your F350, a horse trailer, equipment trailer, or a fifth wheel?

It's easy to tell what hitch that's required by simply looking at your frame rails above your rear wheels on the inside. For example, my 2025 SWD/4x4 had welded plates from the factory (that would have been used for factory set-ups). I did not order them but they were there which made life MUCH simpler. The B/W kit contains the plates but you don't use them. I used my two poster lift for install but only up about 3 feet. I used jacks on the front end to eliminate the wiggle. Read the instructions and watch You Tube videos. Instructions were clear and concise. Take it slow and do it right. It was easy for me and I did it alone. The dimple in the center of my bed for centering was spot on. TORQUE EVERYTHING IN ORDER AS RECOMMENDED!! After all was cleaned up, I re-torqued to be safe. (no changes :-) ). I think the B/W is superior to Ford's system. They are equal in strength but the B/W leaves the bed deck cleaner and flatter. I use the turnover ball system to hook my 5th wheel camper that has been converted, having a gooseneck stinger. Hooking up is easy after you get the hang of it and it GREATLY frees up bed space. I can easily roll around my Honda 3000is Inverter generator with the ball up. Go for it and good luck. Craig, Cody, WY
