Question:
Hello, I have a 2002 dual axel fifth wheel by triple e. Im wanting to upgrade the suspension. I was looking at the morride CR2-33 with their shackle kit. My current equalizer is 6 inches from shackle hole to shackle hole and has a 2 inch height from mounting bolt to shackle hole. My wheelbase is 31 inches and my total spring eye to spring eye is 55 inches. Would the CR2-33, 3000 work for this ? If so, what shackle kit should I use. Thanks Gary

Hey Gary, the MORryde CRE3000 part # MR87ZR is close enough to what you have now that it would work great. Now to pick out the correct shackle kit will be based on the length of your current shackles. A really common size is 3-1/8 inch like what the part # MR76ZR comes with but let me know what you have and I'll see if you need something different.

I did order the mr87zr with the 2 1/4 heavy duty shackel kit. Went well. Instead of jacking up trailer I built a set of 2x6 ramps (3 layers) and pulled up one side on it. Then placed jack stands under frame. One secure I then jacked up each axle like I was changing the tires, one at a time. Worked well without twisting frame. Just reversed it to install tires and pulled off ramps

The 3000 system is a nice upgrade for a couple reasons. 1st they have lubrication points on the bolts. 2nd, there are adjustable cams to position the springs. 3rd, the rubber bushings ride better than metal equalizers.
