Question:
I want to buy a curt hitch for my 1995 ford ranger but want to know if I will have any issues with the spare tire. I have read that some people say that you need to remove the full size spare tire to have clearance for the hitch. Is this true? Will a curt hitch fit on a 95 ranger without removing the spare tire? Thanks

Customers have found that Curt trailer hitch # 13019 fits without having to remove the spare tire. More customers actually commented on this for hitch # 13138 with several of the reviews stating that that the hitch fits with the spare without any problems. Based on the customer information I would go with # 13138 for your 1995 Ford Ranger. I have linked a video showing installation for you.
I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And for trailer wiring use # 118325.
