Can Both Springs In Air Helper Springs System Be Inflated From One Valve

Updated 07/21/2014 | Published 07/19/2014

Question:

Is is required to use a separate air line inflation valve for each air bag or can you use 1 valve with a T for equal inflation of both bags at the same time?

I checked the enclosed installation instructions for the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs, part # AL88397. Near the back of the instructions, they have either separate air spring inflation or equal air spring inflation options listed, and both are acceptable.

I would opt for the separate inflation option because you could at some point have a load that is uneven and one side would need more support than the other. But using a single inflation valve would make it easier to use this system.

For an all-in-one system you may wish to check out the Firestone Level Command, part # F2097. This has a compressor, and a gauge for inside your cab, and it operates both sides at the same time with one switch. I have included a link to an installation video for this system on a 2005 Ford F-350 you can check out.
