I need help ing flat towing Barrs compatible with the system already in place. And I newly purchased used in two thousand fifteen jeep cherokee, limited It has the stay n play duo brake unit and what looks like blue ox type plate installed. Thanks Andy

Hey Andy! For a tow bar you can use the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates # e67ZR. This includes safety cables, and has a built-in rise/drop to keep you level while flat towing. The Blue Ox base plate kit will look like this # BX1138 if you want to compare to be sure. You could also email me some pictures and I'll take a look and confirm.
Does it have tow bar wiring installed already as well? You would have a wiring connection in the front, and then some kind of cable to run between the motorhome and tow vehicle to make the connection.

The tow bar and plate is working great. Takes less than 5 min to hook up our Jeep Grand Cherokee. Very sturdy construct. Happy with purchase.

I’ve been using the e-Trailer XHD non binding tow bar for more than a year. It has the Blue Ox ends for connecting to a Blue Ox tow plate. I like the self storage and the built in 2” drop/rise allowed me to fine tune my tow set up. It works as advertised and has been trouble free for about six to ten thousand miles. Towing a 2018 Chevy Colorado with topper, kayaks, and fishing/camping gear in bed of truck.
