Can you give me the length and width of these bike carrier straps? Replacement Wheel Strap Set for Yakima OnRamp Bike Racks - Qty 2 Part Number: Y53KV Are they made from flexible plastic or a rubbery material? I have to admit they are not for a Yakima bike rack but look very similar to the worn ratchet straps on my Young Brothers bike rack.

Hey Michael,
Using 4" Carbon Fiber Digital Caliper # PTW80157 to meaure, the Replacement Wheel Strap Set for Yakima OnRamp Bike Racks - Qty 2 # Y53KV came out to 0.93" (15/16") wide and 15" long. The straps are made of a rigid plastic, so they're flexible longways, but not width-ways. This will help to form and hold tight around many different sizes of wheels.
Do you know the model of your bike rack? That may help to confirm whether this strap would fit.

Great answer.... these straps are for my Young Brother electric aluminum 2 bay bike rack and the size strap you provided will be a direct replacement for mine. I have ordered a set from etrailer but may order another two sets to replace all the straps on the bike rack. The diagonal cogs in the strap wear with repeated ratchet clip use 3-4 times per week.
