Is There Fifth Wheel Pin Box that is Longer for Better Turning Clearance

Question:
Hello. I own a 2025 Alliance Avenue 5th wheel and I am looking to replace my Lippert pin box with a longer pin box in order to gain more clearance between my pickups rear window and the rvs nose. I have serial s and part s.

Hey Charles, there actually aren't any longer pin boxes out there that are designed to give additional turning clearance. There might be some that are an inch or two longer or shorter but that's not typically enough of a difference to make it worth it. Are you using a fixed hitch currently? It make most since to go with a slider like the B and W Patriot Slider part # BWRVK3270 if you have above bed rails.

Well, if there aren't any available, which is inconsistent with what Andersen Hitches says, then I wonder about a 4" offset Curt gooseneck ball. I have a 2022 Ram 3500 with oem tow package. What else needs to be installed?
