Question:
I was looking at getting the ride rite red label bags but I wanted to find a perfect compressor kit for it. I like the wireless air with tank but the compressor isn’t rated high enough for the bags. Is there a better kit of way to put a bigger compressor with it

Hey Garrett! You can use the Firestone Air Command Extreme Duty Air Compressor with Tank # F46VV you were looking at. This air compressor has a 150 max psi which matches the max psi on the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label # F2709.
What are you towing or hauling with your Silverado?

I have the Firestone with an air tank on my 2023 Silverado 1500. I absolutely love it and it’s made a huge difference in towing. However you have to engineer your own mounts for the air tank because the mounts that come with it won’t work if your truck is like mine. And there is only one location to mount it, which is on the diver side frame behind the cab. I bought two really long U-bolts that are the right size for my frame. Then mounted a couple uni-struts to the ubolts. The tank mounted to the uni-struts. Just make sure not to pinch your fuel line, brake lines, or wiring harness that are also in that area.
