Hi Bob,

Unfortunately, Lippert has discontinued their torsion axle riser kits, so there is no longer a lift kit available for your 3,500 lb Lippert torsion axle.

One alternative is to move to a larger tire size, if your trailer has enough clearance to safely accommodate it. A taller tire raises the axle and frame, which also increases the clearance at the rear of the trailer and can help reduce the chance of dragging when entering or exiting steep driveways.

Before changing tire sizes, you'll want to verify that you have at least 3 inches of clearance between the top of your current tire and the underside of the fender or trailer frame, along with at least 1 inch between the inside sidewall of the tire and the trailer frame. For example, if you currently have ST205/75R15 tires, you may be able to move up to ST225/75R15 if you have enough clearance.

Can you please let me know your current tire size/brand, and the measurements from the top of the tire to the fender and from the inside of the tire to the frame, I'd be happy to see if there's a larger tire that would be a good fit for your trailer.

@RobertS Thanks for getting back to me with your current tire size! Since you're currently running ST205/75R14 tires, you do have a few options to gain a little additional ground clearance if your trailer has enough room for a larger tire. If you'd like to stay with your existing 14-inch aluminum wheels, you could move up to an ST215/75R14, like the Karrier Radial Trailer Tire # AM10229. This tire has an overall diameter of 26.7 inches. Overall diameter is simply the height of the tire from the ground to the top when it's mounted and inflated. Since your current tires measure about 26.1 inches in diameter, this would give you about 0.3 inches of additional ground clearance. If you're open to replacing the wheels as well, you'll gain even more clearance by moving to a 15-inch combination. I recommend the Taskmaster Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Tire with Black Machined Trinity Aluminum Wheel, 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern # TA56AR. This tire and wheel combo has an overall diameter of 28.3 inches, which would raise your trailer by approximately 1.1 inches compared to your current setup. It would be really nice if they didn't get rid of the riser kit, it was a hot selling item, so I am lost on why they discontinued it.
