Question:

Can I add a 2 5/16 ball to this item and have you install it? I dont have a 450 foot pound torque wrench. Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW

Hey Jim, thanks for reaching out. We can provide a 2-5/16" ball to go with the Fastway # FA92-00-1200 hitch. For that I recommend the following:

- 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 15,000 lbs # C40030

That said, I'm sorry to say we don't have a way to install the ball for you here at our warehouse. If I were you, I'd call around in your area and see if there is a shop nearby that has a torque wrench that is up to the task.

What kind of trailer are you towing?

I understand doing things to specific torque specs, I myself don’t have a 450 ft lb torque wrench either. What did is added a lock washer and used air impact until it stopped turning. My impact will torque to 700 ft lbs with a 1200 ft lb breaking strength.
