Upgraded Equalizer and Wet Bolt Kit for 2022 Spartan Enclosed Trailer

Question:

Looking for upgraded equalizer and shackle kit for my 2022 Spartan 24ft enclosed trailer. Can’t seem to find one with all the same dimensions as my stock parts 1-3/4 wide double eye springs 33” axle spacing 5-3/4” equalizer length hole to hole 2-5/8” shackle length hole to hole Most kits see have 2-1/4” shackle length. Would that size work?

Hey Scott, thanks for providing those measurements! For a replacement equalizer you want one that is the closest match to your existing equalizer to keep your suspension geometry the same.

Based on your measurements I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00. This is designed for 33" axle spacing and is an exact match at 5-3/4" long. I have these on my Jayco and they work really well.

You won't find a wet bolt kit/upgraded shackles matching 2-5/8" so 2-1/4" is what you want to use. This is a complete kit that includes the heavy duty 2-1/4" shackle straps and wet bolts so you won't need any additional parts.

Where are you headed once you upgrade your suspension?
