Question:
I need to know how to mount a T rail on the right side of my stairs. I don’t have a left arm and my left leg is weak.

Hi Chris; to mount a rail like the MORryde Safe-T-Rail # MR54BR on the right side of your stairs you would follow the same installation steps as the left. However, if your door swings open to the right it is going to interfere with the rail, and you won't be able to open it all the way even if the rail is folded in.
What kind of steps do you have? MORryde has the Handrail for Second Generation 4-Step MORryde Steps # MR73AR which you could mount on the steps themselves. This is a good solution if the door interference is a problem.

This is th second T-Rail I have installed on my RV's. The footprint is no different than the the folding grab bar other than it runs along the length of the left side of the entry door. If the brackets for the existing grab bar do not interfer with any slides or other accessories, then the T-Rail should not either. From a safety perspective, this is a must have. In fact more and more RV manufactuers are making this standard on their new 5th wheels should tell you something. The install is straight forward and easy, You do need to make sure that you have the correct step setup as it does not work with all types. All in all, a no-regrets purchase that my wife will never live without again.

I agree with Robin H. Putting the rail on the right side of the entrance will interfere with the right handed door. Also if there is a slide out on the right it will be interfered with when sliding .
