How Much Height Will Be Added To Generator Using MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray

Question:

Hello, Im looking at your MR79RR for my predator 5K. My enclosed trailer generator compartment is limited on height 22 1/4. How many inches will the slide out raise the generator from the mounting surface? ~ 2? Thank you in advance

Hey Jake! The height added to your generator will be approximately 1.5". The # MR79RR measures 1.38" from the ground to the bottom of the tray, and then you have to account for the thickness of the tray itself. Add this to the height of your generator to see if you will be under your 22.25" limitation.

I had to raise mine up to clear the lip at thw door seal, but it looks to need around 2".

I installed my Predator in the front storage bay where most factory gens are installed. I had to use two 2X4s to raise the drawer up to clear the lip of the compartment. It works very well because I always pull the drawer out when running the generator.
