Question:

I have a 2026 2500 silverado and want to install bed rails for my reese 5th wheel hitch. Im looking at the 30035 rail kit, will that work and what other bracket will I need? Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks for writing in, and Congrats on the new 2500!

I wasn't able to locate rail kit 30035 in our system, but it appears to be a Reese rail kit with universal mounting brackets. If that's the case, I would recommend using the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Bracket Kit # C16429 instead. The custom brackets make installation much easier than universal brackets and are designed specifically for compatible Chevy/GMC trucks.

For the rails, the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails # C16204 are industry-standard rails and will work great with your Reese 5th wheel hitch.

Did you get a new camper, or just get a new truck and need new rails?
