Hey Dave! The Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH95VR comes with the passive wiring. If you need the active wiring you will have to acquire it directly from Stealth Hitches.

The Stealth hitch is very well made. I definitely recommend it! I also installed a brake controller. I pull a 6.5’x10’ utility trailer with it regularly. Mine is a 2016 X3 328d, with the 2 liter turbo diesel.
