Availability Of Replacement Parts For Yakima Bike Racks

Question:
My question is related to the Yakima brand of bike racks you carry. Do you carry Replacement Parts for that line of products? Specifically, can I purchase 1 Replacement Bike tray for a Yakima Rack? Thank-You.

Hey Vic, thanks for reaching out. We do carry replacement parts for many of the bike racks we carry including the Yakima brand racks. Sometimes it can take us a few months to get replacement parts added to the site once we pick up a new rack though. Like for example, the Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # Y94MX you were looking at is a fairly new rack, so it looks like we don't have replacement parts listed on the site quite yet. We should be adding parts like wheel trays, straps, cradles, hooks, and stuff soon though.
That said, if you need a part for a Yakima rack, and we don't happen to carry it, you should be able to get it from Yakima. Their customer service is great, and they are usually pretty good about hooking customers up with any parts they may need.
Do you already have a Yakima rack you were needing parts for? Or were you just checking in case that comes up in the future?

Jesse, Thanks much for reaching back out. I did end up chatting with an E-Trailer gal yesterday - Sherri. Great Rep! She gave me a part for my "older" HoldUp rack from Yakima. I need an entire tray assembly, ie: the "Front" one. Meaning, the tray closest to the vehicle when you load bikes. The part number Sherri gave me was: 8890280. She also gave me pricing for it. I looked it up on your website & it appears to be the correct size & specs for my bikes. But can you check "2" things for me. 1.) Does it come with the 4 Allen Socket Screws that hold it onto the frame? 2.) My current one is 2-3/4 inches wide - Can you verify the replacement is the same" I will likely place an order for it when I return from a few days of travelling. Definitely before the end of June.
