Will Thule Hullavator Fit 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" Square Crossbars

Question:
I have a rack with square 1.75”x1.75” bars. They have t slots that fit 20mmx20mm nuts. Will the Thule Hullavator fit on these bars? How wide is the opening on the bottom of the “bar mount assembly” Thanks

Hey Larry! Your 1-3/4" wide crossbars are within the width range of the Hullavator # TH898 clamp hardware, but the 1-3/4" height is greater than a typical square crossbar, so the included bolts will be too short. Longer M6 bolts could potentially be used to make the clamp-style mounting work.
The better option is likely the T-slot mount. The included T-track nuts measure approximately 20 mm (0.79") wide, which matches your 20 mm x 20 mm track size and would eliminate the need to source longer hardware. However, I would still verify the T-slot dimensions, since the fit may be very tight depending on the exact measurements of the channel.
Also, be sure your crossbars extend 4" to 8" beyond the rack feet, as that overhang is required for the Hullavator to operate properly.
