Handrail for Lippert SolidStep on a 2022 Keystone Arcadia 377RL

Published 06/09/2026

Question:

I have a 2022 Keystone Arcadia 377 RL travel trailer it has a Curt 4 step solid step. It also has a sticker that says lippert underneath the steps. I am trying to find a handrail to mount on the steps but in the installation video it shows 4 holes with bolts through them already in the steps toward the top. Mine does not have 4 holes anywhere it has two holes above the first step and two holes above the third step. The distance from center to center on both of these holes are 3 inches. The manufacturing date of my steps is April of 2022. Which handrail do I need? Thanks

Hi Norman,

I can definitely see where the confusion comes from. While CURT and Lippert are part of the same family of companies, the SolidStep itself like part # LC791574 is a Lippert product. Based on your 2022 Keystone Arcadia 377RL and the Lippert identification sticker on the steps, the correct handrail is the Lippert Entry Assist Handrail for SolidStep Manual RV Steps # LC799640.

From your description of the mounting holes and the April 2022 manufacturing date, it sounds like you have a Lippert SolidStep setup that is designed for the Lippert handrail. The installation video you were watching showed a Morryde step system, which is why the mounting points didn't match what you're seeing on your trailer. The Lippert handrail is designed specifically for the SolidStep and uses the 2 holes you mentioned.

I completely understand wanting to be certain before ordering. Nobody wants to end up with a handrail that doesn't line up correctly, especially when the goal is having a sturdy, reliable handhold every time you enter or exit the trailer. Based on the information you've provided, I feel confident recommending the Lippert Entry Assist Handrail # LC799640 for your setup.

Who usually uses the steps at your Arcadia, anyone needing a little extra support like kids or pets?
