Is There Thule Ladder Rack that is Compatible with Tonneau

Question:
Is there a Thule rack that would be compatible with a bed cover? I have a Ford F150 and am looking for a rack for my SUP and/or Kayak.

Hey Sheila, yes Thule has their TracRac SR sliding ladder racks that work great with tonneau covers as long as they install between the bed rails of the truck. I would need to know what the year/make/model of your truck is as well as the bed length to determine what you'd need from both.

I installed my racks on a 2016 Jeep Gladiator. It will not fit with the covers installed with an inside slide track. It was easy to install if you follow the directions and have a helper for some of the steps. One issue that I ran into was the powder coating clogged the screw threads on the clamp blocks. All of the blocks had to have the threaded holes retapped. The racks are sturdy and look good. They do however warp the plastic trim on top of the rails a little. Not a problem for me but might be for some. The brand stickers are falling off the rack so Thule is not getting any credit for the good looks. All in all I would buy them again. 4.5 stars. 2 stars if I did not own the right size taps to fix the clogged holes.
