Troubleshooting Furrion DV1200 Not Working After Reversing Battery Terminals

Question:
2016 jayco eagle 5th wheel Furrion radio not working. Dv1200 No standby lamp coming on. Is there an internal fuse? There is power to the unit. Unit failed to operate after battery terminals were reversed. Is there a replacement available for this unit?

Hey John! The Furrion DV1200 does not have an internal fuse that can be accessed or replaced. If you have confirmed power is reaching the unit, I recommend pulling the stereo to check for an inline fuse on the wiring harness behind the radio.
If that checks out, the stereo was likely damaged internally and will need to be replaced. For a replacement, I recommend the Jensen RV Stereo # JEN43YR. It offers similar functionality and would work well as an upgrade.

Robin H Thanks for the reply. I pulled the radio and found an inline 15amp fuse which had blown. I replaced the fuse and put the radio back in. The radio working again. Thanks
