Do WeatherTech Floor Mats Stay In Place On Vinyl Flooring In a 2023 CV515?

Updated 05/29/2026 | Published 05/24/2026

Question:

Will these work well on my 2023 CV515 with vinyl flooring? I’m concerned about them sliding/moving around without carpet to help keep them in place.

Hello JC,

Thanks for writing in.

Yes, the WeatherTech # WT29SQ mats should work well in your 2023 CV515 even with the vinyl flooring. WeatherTech designs these mats with a textured underside and a molded fit to help keep them from sliding around, even in vehicles without carpet. Since they are laser measured for the vehicle, the fit itself does a lot to help keep them positioned correctly.

With vinyl floors, you may notice a little movement compared to carpeted vehicles, especially when first getting in and out, but in most cases they stay put very well once settled into place. Making sure the floor is clean underneath before installing them also helps improve grip.

The nice thing about the WeatherTech mats is the raised outer edge, which does a great job containing dirt, water, and mud, especially in vans like the CV515 that tend to see a lot of camping and travel use.

Are you mainly getting the van set up for road trips or more off-grid camping adventures?

I have these mats in my 2023 Chevy 5500 which I believe is the same cab as the cv515. They fit great with very minimal movement, the supplied double-sided tape wasn't the greatest but I supplemented with my own 3M double-sided and have had no issues in with over a year of usage
