Question:
I can’t find the proper Gen-Y torsion hitch that will work with a 1200/12,000 equalizer WDH. This is for a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali 4x4 with the 6.6l Durmax and the trailer is a 2026 Brinkley I 235. I would prefer a 2 1/2” shank so I don’t have to use the adapter and I believe I will need a 6” drop.

Hey Ron, congrats on the new trailer. The Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank item # 325-GH-1102 is exactly what you'll need. It fits a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, is rated for up to 1,700 lbs of tongue weight, and provides a maximum drop of 6-1/2". This shank is compatible with the 12,000 lbs Equal-i-zer weight distribution systems like item # EQ37120ET and item # EQ37121ET.
