Question:

Can you tell me the distance from the rear door if I install the Swagman Swivel hitch and the swagman escape pro bike rack on my mercedes sprinter? Im trying to clear a box that is on the back door.

Hey James! I can't tell you how far out it will sit from your door, but I can tell you how far out it will sit from the center of your hitch pin hole. You can use that measurement to determine if it will clear the box or not.

Using the dimensions provided by Swagman, the Swivel # S86SR places the accessory hitch pin hole approximately 10.8" away from the vehicle hitch pin hole. The Escapeee Pro # S85SR measures 9.64" from its hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack. Combined, the nearest part of the rack will sit approximately 20.44" behind the vehicle’s hitch pin hole.
