Hey Jonathan, welcome back! To install the EcoHitch item # 306-X7359 on your 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV you'll need to make a 6" x 2-1/2" cutout in the bottom fascia. I've linked an installation video below that shows this step at the 8:50 mark.
The EcoHitch item # 306-X7359 is confirmed to fit your 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV. This custom fit hitch has a 2" receiver with a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight.
What do you plan on using your new hitch for once you get it installed?

Thanks. I am putting a bike rack to accommodate an e-bike. I have seen the video and the width of the cut out seems cut and dry to me. I was not sure on the end point measurements of 6”, but maybe it will be obvious once i’m at that point.
