Question:
What is on the other end of this, custom harness? Pictures suggest it might be a standard Molex connector??

Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out. No, the custom pigtail that comes with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED42CR is not a Molex connector. It is a custom plug for the Toyota OEM factory brake controller connection. It does look similar to a Molex connector but they are not the same thing. That particular plug will match up with the factory brake controller port on a 2016-2023 Tacoma and a 2015-2023 Tundra with the factory tow package. If you’re asking because you want to extend, modify, or build your own harness, most guys either buy the Redarc harness separately or cut/splice rather than trying to match the connector family exactly.
What vehicle were you wanting to install the brake controller on?
