I have a tear drop camper that sits on grass next to the house, then usually ends up on gravel or dirt campsites. I want something easier to crank, but my bigger issue is the jack foot sinking and sliding around.

Welcome back Linda! For that kind of use, we have a good solution, and I'd pick based on where your jack mounts now.

If your tear drop camper uses a standard A-frame jack in the middle of the tongue (3 bolt mount), the A-frame # e38AV is the one I’d use. If you’d rather move the jack to the side of the frame and have it swivel up for travel, go with the side-mount # e86AV which fits 2" - 4" tall frames.

Both include the SnapPad, which is what I really like for your situation. It gives the foot a larger rubber base, so it does better on grass, gravel, and uneven campsites than a plain metal foot. Both also let you use a non-impact drill if you get tired of using the manual crank method, so setup is faster without wiring in an electric jack. Linda, is your current jack mounted through the A-frame coupler, or is it already bolted to the side of the trailer?
