Could MORryde Handrail be Modified to Clear Cabinet

Question:
Kitchen cabinets in the way. Can the 2nd gen, 4 step handrail by Morryde be shortened by 1-2 and new holes drilled? Or could I adapt a Lippert handrail to the Morryde steps? The Lippert rail being removable solves the problem. I dont want any other style handrail.

Hey Tom, I don't see why you couldn't modify the MORryde Handrail part # MR73AR like you described to allow it to work. We don't have a recommended way to do this though so you'd have to come up with what makes the most sense.

We connected the handle to the inside of the stairs and that way we don’t have to remove it when we pack up to move. It is a great thing when going up and down the stairs.
