Will this work with a 1Up tray rack? I have the Heavy Duty double tray.

Hey Christine! The Saris Swing Away # SAR36VR is not a confirmed fit with the 1Up Heavy Duty double tray. The issue is the 1Up’s anti-wobble wedge sits too far back on the shank, and the hitch pin hole location on the Saris receiver tube may not allow enough insertion depth for the wedge system to engage correctly.

It may be possible, but I would not recommend that combination without a test fit. We do not carry the 1Up racks, so it is not something I can physically test here.

Instead, I recommend the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Adapter # PVP20B or the heavier-duty Kuat Pivot XD # KU37KR. Those have a deeper receiver design and are known to work well with longer-shank platform racks like the 1Up HD. Keep in mind, the use of any of these adapters will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50%.
