Question:
Vehicle: 2008 Subaru WRX STI 5-door wagon with quad exhaust How far behind the bumper edge does the end of the receive sit? I ask because I have a Quikrstuff Mach 2 bike rack and it requires 3 3/8inch of distance between the end of the receiver so that the rack does not touch the bumper when it is stowed in the upright position.

Hey Kenneth. The hitch pin hole on the EcoHitch item # 306-X7261 sits right at 2-3/4" behind the edge of the rear bumper when installed on a 2008 Subaru WRX STI 5-door wagon with quad exhaust. You'll have plenty of clearance for your Quikrstuff Mach 2 bike rack.
The EcoHitch item # 306-X7261 has a detachable 2" receiver with a 300 lbs tongue weight capacity and a 2,000 lbs towing capacity. It is the only 2" hitch designed for the 2008 Subaru WRX STI 5-door wagon with quad exhaust. It will come with all the necessary hardware you'll need to get it installed.
