Question:

I’m replacing the AC on my older Class C, and I’m trying to decide between a low-profile unit and a standard-height one. We’re not full-timers, but we do run into low branches and low obstacles pretty often. Would the Advent Air low-profile 13.5K be the better pick?

Hey Reina! Yes, if clearance is the thing you’re trying to improve, the Advent Air # ADV76SR is the one I’d look at. It’s a 13,500 Btu low-profile rooftop AC that sits just 10-1/8 inches tall, so it keeps the roofline lower than a lot of standard-height RV ACs.

Just keep in mind # ADV76SR is the rooftop unit only. To complete the system, pair it with the Advent Air air distribution box with wall-mounted thermostat # ADV98SR, which works for ducted or ductless setups.
