Question:
We camp with two big dogs, so I want strong cooling but not a complicated wall-control setup. Would the black Furrion 15K system be too much for a normal travel trailer?

Expert Reply:
Good morning Ashwin, the Furrion Chill HE # FR75TD is not typically too much for a travel trailer, especially if you camp in warm weather or have pets along. It’s a complete 15,000 Btu system, so it’s a strong cooling option with manual controls at the ceiling air distribution box.
It can be used with ducted or ductless setups, and the built-in start capacitor is helpful when the compressor kicks on. This reduces the amount of power drained when firing up the AC unit.
If you camp in cooler "shoulder-season" weather too, the optional Furrion heat strip # FR35SR can add light electric heat. What size travel trailer are you cooling, Ashwin?
