Question:
I bought a used camper and the AC works, but it’s loud and the ceiling controls are cracked. I’d rather replace the whole thing than chase old parts. Is there a complete black unit with simple controls?

Hey Zoya! Yes, the Furrion Chill HE # FR75TD is a good fit for that kind of replacement. It’s a complete 15,000 Btu system with the black rooftop AC and matching manual air distribution box, so you get fresh ceiling controls instead of trying to salvage old parts. Also, AC unit parts aren't usually backwards comaptible anymore unless the system is only a couple years old; there was a refrigerant update where the old R410A parts won't fit the new R32 systems.
That being said, on the new Furrion unit you’ll control everything right at the ceiling assembly, and it can work with ducted or ductless setups. It also includes a start capacitor, and you can add the Furrion heat strip # FR35SR later if you want light electric heat. What brand of AC is on the camper now, Zoya?
