Which AC Unit With Heat Is Best For Older Camper With No Ceiling Vents
Published 05/12/2026 >
Question:
I have an older camper with no ceiling ducts, and I’d like AC plus electric heat if I’m already replacing everything. Is the GE34RR the one to look at?

Hey Leila! Yes, the GE Appliances Deluxe Plus # GE34RR is the one I’d look at if you want a complete ductless system with electric heat built in. It includes the 15,000 Btu rooftop AC, air distribution box, thermostat, and controls.
The built-in heat pump is great for cool mornings when you’re plugged into shore power, but I’d still keep the RV furnace as your main heat source if you plan to some colder weather camping. What camper are you putting it on, Leila?
