Replacing Old Duo Therm 13,500 BTU Air Conditioner In Keystone Travel Trailer
Published 05/12/2026 >
Question:
I’m replacing a Duo-Therm 13.5K unit in Keystone travel trailer and want something lower profile in black. I don’t need a huge upgrade, Would the Advent ADV76SR make sense?

Hey Selene! Yes, the Advent Air # ADV76SR makes sense if your current 13,500 Btu AC has been keeping up and you want to stay in that same cooling range. It’s a 13,500 Btu low-profile rooftop unit in black, so it’s a nice pick when you want less bulk up on the roof.
Just remember # ADV76SR is the rooftop unit only. To complete the setup, pair it with the Advent Air air distribution box with wall-mounted thermostat # ADV98SR, which works for ducted or ductless systems. Is your current Duo-Therm setup tied into ceiling vents, Selene?
