Can Curt 4-Way Kit part # C55384 be Used with Light Bar

I have a 2024 ram 1500 limited and was given a led tailgate light bar, non putco brand, would this work so that I could do plug and play?

Hey Daniel, yes you can use the Curt 4-way part # C55384 as a way to provide a 4-way to power a tailgate bar on your 2024 Ram 1500 Limited. What light bar do you have?

I used the CURT Connector on my 2025 GMC to install a light bar; if I had used the 4-pole connector built into the truck it may have sensed that I had a trailer connected when the light bar activated.

Hi Daniel, It should work fine. I have a Nissan Titan with the factory 7way plug. I added my rear strip light to the 4 way plug part and the 7 pin to the factory connection. Both work just fine. The strip light and the 7 way work at the same time.
