Question:
I need to replace the dvd in my 2005 Pleasureway rv van. Concept dvp-468 This is the replacement you recommend, but my dvd player only has a 4 wire plug with ground, 12v 1.5 a, acc! And p.cont. Is it compatible? How would I go about wiring this f I bought it?

Hi Jeffrey; the RV DVD Player # 324-000032 isn't a plug-and-play swap, but it is compatible with some basic wiring.
Your current wires match up like this:
Ground > Ground (black)
12V > Constant 12V (yellow)
ACC > Switched 12V (red)
P.CONT > Not typically used (cap it off unless you have an amp)
You just need to cut the old plug and splice into the new harness. Also check behind the unit for a separate speaker plug, since the new stereo uses standard speaker wiring.
