Question:

I have a bak revolver x4ts on my gen4 Tacoma. I would like a low profile bed rack to mount a Thule box over the bed. What products would fit this. I do have a set of Thule 53” wingbar evo bars that I could use if I could figure out possible Thule bases to purchase from strainer. Other options not using the Thule wingbars.

Hey Peter congrats on your new truck! For a low profile ladder rack, I recommend the Yakima OutPost HD Overland item # Y01152-5855. It is compatible with both the 5' and 6' bed lengths on the 2026 Toyota Tacoma.

Your BAK Revolver X4ts Hard Tonneau Cover item # BAK93AV has built in t-slot rails. The adapter included with the OutPost HD Overland Ladder Rack item # Y01152-5855 are going to attach directly to them. The 68" long x 3" wide x 1-1/2" thick crossbars are going to sit 13" above your Tacoma's bed rails. They'll have a 300 lbs capacity that does reduce to 180 lbs if you're off-roading.

Unfortunately, I do not have a way for you to reuse your Thule 53” wingbar evo crossbars with your BAK Revolver X4ts item # BAK93AV.

What model Thule box do you have and what kind of gear do you store in it?
