Is this kit compatible with a traditional tube style basket, or just mesh and platforms?

Hey Dan, the Heavy-Duty Crossbar Fit Kit for Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Baskets and Steel Mesh Trays # RUBK is just for the mesh baskets/trays from Rhino Rack, and it allows them to be fitted to the Rhino Rack Heavy Duty Crossbars like Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbar - Black - 59" Long # RB1500B. If you do have the heavy duty crossbars then the adapters MIGHT work for your tubular style basket, but you'd be on your own since we haven't test fitted that.
What components and roof rack do you have right now? And what basket / tray? I can try to piece together a fit for you.
