Is There A New Coleman AC Unit For Toy Hauler That Gets Bounced Around On Rough Roads?

Published 04/27/2026

Question:

I’ve got a toy hauler that gets bounced around on rough roads more than most campers. I just want a solid recommendation. Which of these ducted Coleman systems would you put on it?

Hey Melissa, for a toy hauler that sees rough roads regularly, I’d recommend the Roughneck Mach 15 # CM65RR first. That’s the tougher ducted option in this group, and it’s built with the reinforced construction that makes more sense for harsher use.

If your toy hauler has cooled air routed through ceiling vents, then you’re in the right category because these are for ducted RV systems only. If the air only blows out of the ceiling assembly right at the unit, that would be ductless instead. Melissa, if you want, send me your toy hauler model and I can help make sure the Roughneck is the best fit.
