Hey Steve, these all run on 115/120V AC power, and the draw depends on the model and conditions. The Signature Mach 3 # CM83RR is listed at 12.8 amps in mildly warm weather (85 degrees F), and the Roughneck Mach 3 # CM95RR is the same size and amp draw. On the 15,000 Btu side, the Signature Mach 15 # CM52RR and Roughneck Mach 15 # CM65RR are both listed at 13.9 amps draw in the same weather conditions. These are among the most efficient, lowest amp units out there.

So there is a little difference between the 13.5K and 15K systems, but not a huge jump in normal cooling conditions. If you’re trying to be careful with generator use, that’s one reason one of the 13.5K options like # CM83RR or # CM95RR can still make a lot of sense if your RV size and cooling needs don’t really require a 15K unit.
