How to Test Tekonsha T-One Power Converter on 2010 Jeep Patriot

Question:

i have a tekonsha control module on my patriot , i only have power on the right turn signal, how can i test it to see if it is bad

Hey David! What you need to do is take your circuit tester and check for power running into the power converter. If you have power coming in, but not going out (aside from right turn signal) the module is bad. I would also double check the ground connection since that could cause this problem. Make sure it is secure on a clean, bare metal surface.

If the converter is bad, you can replace the entire wiring harness with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56333.
