Would Thule Verse Bike Rack Allow Truck Tailgate to Fold Down

Hi, wondering if this rack while tilted all the way down will allow for the tailgate on a 2016 Toyota Tundra to open all the way without hitting?

Hey Robb, while I can't say with 100 percent certainty as we haven't tested it I don't believe you'd be able to fully open the rear tailgate of your Tundra with the Thule Verse bike rack # TH64SA folded down. Now if you used the rack with a pivoting adapter like the part # Y02483 you'd for sure be able to access the tailgate as this rack can move the rack all the way to the side and out of way of tailgate.
