Will The Valterra RV Sewer Elbow T1035-1 Work With A Camco Brand Valve?

Will this work with a Camco valve too or do I need to buy a valterra valve?

Hey Jay, good question. You don’t need to stick with Valterra for this. The # T1035-1 will work with a Camco valve just fine as long as it’s a standard 3" connection. Yours should be a 3" connection but if you can check and verify that you can be sure it will work.

That 3" bayonet style fitting is pretty universal across RV waste systems, so the brands mix without any issues. As long as your valve is that standard size, it’ll hook up clean and seal like it should without the need for any additional adapters or anything.

I actually bought the Camco a while back to install if my factory valves started leaking, but never installed it cause it hadn’t happened until recently.. So I saw the elbow and thought I’d much rather route the drain front to back and install the Camco vs adding it on the factory stuff as is and having it stick out past the side of the trailer..

@Jay That makes a lot of sense, that’s a much cleaner way to set it up. Routing it front to back keeps everything tucked in better instead of hanging out the side, and using the Camco there should work out really well for you. Sounds like a solid plan.
