Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Sewer Elbow. This fitting would get installed in an RV sewer drain system, and combine both the black tank and gray tank pipes to 1 outlet. The unit's made from a durable plastic construction. Here, on this side, this point features the rotating flange that would get connected to a 3 inch valve. The rotating design is nice, because that way, you can position the flange and the handle to a location that works best for your application. The mount holes on the rotating flange are going to be separated on center by about 3 3/4 inch apart.
It's going to be the same separation for each set. This point also has a rotating flange. This would get connected to a 1 1/2 inch valve for your gray water tank pipes. The mount hole separation on this flange, it's going to be right around 2 1/2 inches, maybe 2 7/16, right in that area. Then, this right here is going to be your main drain outlet. This is a 3 inch bayonet-style fitting with a 4 pin design.
It will accept standard 3 inch bayonet-style fittings, both 2 hook and 4 hook designs. That's going to give us an outer diameter of 3 1/2 inches, and it also has the connection point, right here, that allows a cap with a tether strap to be installed to the unit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Sewer Elbow.

how do you hook you hook up your sewer hose to this part??? There is a piece of pipe adhered to the drain that blocks you from installing the sewer hose.

Austin helped me find the exact right part. A truck retread had ripped the sewer elbow off the RV, so I didn't have a part number. I wish the o-rings that seal the elbow to the valves had been mentioned, I would have bought them also.
Looked like a perfect fit for the one I was replacing. Installed it. When I opened the valve the elbow pulled out of the flange dumping black water on the ground. Fortunately it wasn't a lot. Any insights as to went wrong would be appreciated. Not sure how the flange came off of the elbow itself.
