Hi Tom,

The Dexter Steel 3/16" Brake Line Tubing part # T1086700 can be bent but needs to be done very carefully and with the correct tools. Since this brake line is Bundywelded it is fairly strong but not very forgiving, so it can bend but the line can get kinks easily is not done carefully. I recommend using a tubing bender to bend the steel brake line to prevent it from flattening or kinking. Tube benders for hydraulic brake lines are readily available at auto parts stores and general home improvement stores. I would avoid using pliers or vise grips to try and bend the line or any sharp bends without a tubing bender. I even went to our warehouse and attempted to bend the line by hand but found it nearly impossible to do so, so a tubing bender is most definitely necessary.

What kind of trailer are you using this to replace the brake line on?
