Can you still operate the sunroof fully with this roof rack? Vehicle is a 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500HD ZR2

Hey Jimmy, thanks for reaching out, and good question. Yes, you can still operate and fully open the sunroof with that Front Runner # FR75FJ rack on you 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500HD ZR2, but it’s not quite the same as stock. The rack sits pretty low over the roof, so while the sunroof will open, it’s going to be right up under the rack. You can adjust or remove a slat or two to give it a little more room, but it’s still somewhat boxed in, especially with gear loaded on the rack.

Real world, it turns into more of a “crack it open” setup than fully enjoying it wide open. You’ll get some light and a bit of airflow, but you’re going to notice more wind noise, and you lose that open-air feel. It works, just not like it would without the rack.
