Will it pump DEF?

No, it can not due to the pump. The TeraPump UtilityCan with Fuel Transfer Pump item # TE78VR has a DEF compatible HDPE 5-Gallon jug but the pump isn't rated for DEF and you run the risk of contaminating your trucks SCR system.
Instead, I recommend the TeraPump Battery Powered Ethanol Transfer Pump item # TE59VR. This pump is rated to be used with DEF and includes four adapters the fit most brands of fuel jugs.
