Availability of 60 Amp RV Power Converter that is Lithium Compatible

Published 04/01/2026

Question:

I have a 2024 entegra esteem 27u and want to upgrade my converter to do lithium. i have a Intel-powerPD9260C 60 amp. First I only have a 30 amp shore power and im assuming its okay to be over amps not under? Is the 9300 a direct replacement for my current setup and will my BMpro still communicate with new converter? thanks

Hey Ryan, for a replacement converter that is 60 amp that is lithium compatible you'd want the part # PD79RR. The interesting thing about the amps is that there's a difference between 120 volt 30 amps (your power source) and 12 volt 30 amps (what this outputs). 30 amp AC power is more like 270 amps DC so there wouldn't be any issues. You'd have more than enough amperage. What lithium batteries did you go with?
