Hi Rick, great question!

For that Vesper 15"x6" wheel part # TA97RR, it uses a centered design with zero offset, which means the mounting surface sits right in the middle of the wheel. Because of that, the backspacing ends up being right around 3 inches on a 6 inch wide rim. In simple terms, about half the wheel sits inward toward the trailer and half sits outward, which is the standard setup for most trailer wheels.

That centered layout is what helps keep things predictable for clearance, so in most cases you won’t run into issues with the frame or suspension unless your setup is especially tight. It’s also the reason these wheels tend to match up well with factory configurations.

Does your current wheel have an offset? I am happy to help you find a replacement if that's what you are going for.
