Can Weigh Safe True Tow Be Used For Regular Towing With Spring Arms Removed

Question:

Can this be used without the sway bars? Like around town and short trips. I wouldnt want to use them all the time.

Hey Jeff! Yes, you can use the head of the Weigh Safe True Tow # WS97RR like a standard ball mount with the spring arms removed. Regarding your other question about welding, I sent that off to Weigh Safe to see if they officially approve that for installation. I'll let you know once I hear back.

I'm towing a 14k dump trailer that I will also use to haul a skid steer.

@Jeff I heard back from Weigh Safe this morning and they said they don't approve welding the brackets. Unfortunately, they will have to be bolted on if you want to use this system.
